The KAIROS Blanket Exercise is a workshop that explores the nation-to-nation relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada. Blankets arranged on the floor represent land and participants are invited to step into the roles of First Nations, Inuit and later Métis peoples.  It is a fascinating and moving teaching tool to share the historic and contemporary relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada.

Leading us in the Blanket Exercise will be Marilyn Shingoose, a facilitator at Wild Rose United Church, and her volunteers.  The workshop will take place on November 18 from 1 to 4 pm in the Sanctuary.  Space is limited so registration is required.  Please register with Essie at essie(@)symonsvalleyuc.com.  Deadline to register is November 14.
