Join Us for Orange Shirt Sunday & Brown Bag Lunch at Symons Valley United Church!

On this special day, we will proudly wear our Orange Shirts in solidarity with the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. It’s a day of remembrance for the children who never made it home, as well as a day to honor the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and communities.

Rev. Vicki McPhee will be sharing a sermon about Orange Shirt Sunday. After the service, we invite you to join us for a community Brown Bag Lunch. Simply bring your own lunch, and we’ll provide lemonade and delicious ice cream cones. If the weather permits, we’ll gather outdoors, so don’t forget to bring a lawn chair or a cozy blanket.
