All Car Hosts must be registered to participate in the event

EARLY REGISTRATION

The following registration form is for Kincora Community Association, Symons Valley United Church, and Community Groups and/or Businesses that received an early bird invitation. More spots will open closer to the event. If you would like to offer to be a Car Host, please email communications@symonsvalleyuc.com. Note: emailing does not mean one is registered or guarantees a spot for the event.

CAR HOSTS:

Trunk or Treat is a fantastic family-friendly event sponsored by the Kincora Community Association and Symons Valley United Church. We started this tradition as a safe and enjoyable way for children and families to Trick or Treat. One of the prominent roles of this event is the Car Host.

The role of the Car Host Includes:

  • Arrive and set up at the church no later than 12:30 PM on October 29th. This gives you time to find your spot, set up your Trunk, and have it reviewed for prizes later. We’ll be parking the cards to give room for your setup and the Trick & Treaters.
  • Get creative and decorate your vehicle with a fun theme! You can find great Trunk or Treat decorating ideas on Pinterest.
  • Purchase only store-bought and commercially wrapped candy to hand out to the little ones. Plan for 150-200 kids, and don’t worry if you run out. We’ll have extra candy available.
  • Dress up in a costume and embrace the Halloween spirit! You can match your costume to your Trunk theme or wear one you love.
  • Remember to treat each child with joy and excitement. For many, this will be their first time trick or treating. Greet them warmly, admire their costumes, and say hello to their parents or guardians too.
  • Have fun! This is a great family-friendly event and lots of great community spirit.

Would you like to be contacted to volunteer, sponsor, or support the Spring 2024 Kincora Community Easter Egg Hunt? The Easter Egg Hunt had over 600 people attend and memorable family fun.
