This Indigenous Sunday, we are honoured to welcome Mizze Walker, a vibrant voice from the Mi’kmaw First Nations, to lead our service. Living in Mohkinstsis since 1995 and studying Indigenous Studies at the University of Calgary, Mizze brings a wealth of knowledge and a heartfelt commitment to reconciliation. Mizze’s mission is profound yet simple: to support all Canadians in the journey of reconciliation so we can walk this parallel path together. Whether you are well-versed in Indigenous cultures or just beginning to learn, this service offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding and engage in meaningful dialogue.
